Ever since the company was founded, the aim of Extractos Vegetales S.A. (EVESA) has been to enhance the products provided by Nature and make them more attractive to our customers. From its origins in 1972, our company has evolved from the cultivation, extraction and marketing of aromatic plants and spices for the fragrance, food and pharmaceutical industries.
The result is a company that now competes in all the world’s markets.
From the very beginning Evesa has tried to interpret its surroundings ,showing them to our customers for over 25 years. Traditional extraction techniques and the sophisticated analytical and evaluation techniques that are at our disposal enables us to guarantee the quality of our natural products to our customers satisfaction by meeting their specifications.

NATURAL PRODUCTS
EVESA produces a wide range of Natural Extracts and Spices used as food colouring and as flavours, like Oleoresins as they contain the full organoleptic character of natural spices and vegetables.
Our products are completely natural, produced following severe quality measures(HACCP, ISO 9002,…) and prepared according to each customer´s specifications.
With a world wide distribution network through our agents, and exhibiting in the most important food ingredients shows, make of our products to be reacheable worlwide.
NATURAL FOOD COLOURINGS
The main product manufactured in EVESA is PAPRIKA OLEORESIN(Capsicum annuum L.), producing more than 300 tons per year, based on 100.000 c.u. This natural colouring is available oil soluble (5.000 up to 180.000 c.u.) and water soluble.
There are also other food colourings available: Anthocianin(ex-Grape skin), Carrot Oleoresin, … (Product list on request).

OLEORESINS
One of the main applications of the OLEORESINS is to substitute spices in food at the industrial scale, as with Anise seeds, Thyme, Laurel, Oregano, Rosemary …
Beverages, ice creams, candy, backed goods, syrups, jelly and puddings, chewing gums, toppings, snacks, soup dressings, seasonings, pickles, processed meat, milk derivatives, cheeses, …
NATURAL ANTIOXIDANT
In response to the needs of our customers we have developed a natural odourless antioxidant called BORDANTIX? obtained from Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.), used to avoid rancidity in products containing oils and fats.
Our natural antioxidant is available in two forms:
• BORDANTIX? LIQUID OIL AND WATER SOLUBLE
• BORDANTIX? POWDER
Among the different applications of BORDANTIX? are:
Processed meat products (sausages, meat-balls, salami, ...)
Oil-fried products (doughnut, pie, tart, instant noodle, snacks…)
Oil and fat products (dressing, mayonnaise, margarine, peanut butter ...)

NATURAL COLOURING FOR ANIMAL FEED
EVESA has developed a natural red colouring agent called RED BORCHICK?(ex-Paprika) used as animal feed to enhance the red colour of egg yolk and fish meat.
SPICES
EVESA produces more than 2500 tons per year of Paprika Powder (sweet and hot), a red ground powder with all the flavour and taste of the Spanish Paprika(Capsicum annuum L.).
The quality available is from 30 up to 200 ASTA units.
The Paprika powder is available both sterilized and unsterilized according to the latest techniques in this field, and always following clients specifications

SWEETENER NHDC
Neo-Hesperidine Dihydrochalcone (NHDC) is a high intensity sweetener 1800 times sweeter than sugar (sucrose) in a fine naturally derived powder obtained from small bitter oranges.
